Widex EASYWEAR Receiver wire with kevlar (type SMP)
The new version for Unique, Dream and Clear in the Passion and Fusion RIC hearing aid sizes.
Ready assembled – The wire emerges at an angle from the side of the receiver block – proving to be rather uncomfortable for some users. Dream and Clear can be fitted with the ‘type 1’ wire instead. On your existing wire, you’ll see a red or blue number(1-5) – this is the wire size. Also, you should see a smaller S, M or P – this is the type (the relative power / gain) of wire you need (if you see a tiny ‘1’, you need the Type 1 receiver listed separately.
To change: Pull the receiver wire directly out of the hearing aid (fusion and passion models).
If you do not know what size of receiver wire you need:
have a look near the tip of your old tubes – there should be a number usually Red on the left and Blue on the right.
OR
alternately email us (info@hearingaidparts.co.uk) having taken the measurement from the top of your ear (where spectacles would sit) straight down to the centre of the ear canal entrance in mm – please see picture below.
